the file as a MS Word 2003 or XP document (filename:

Contributions are published in
Slovak, Czech or English language.
The size of
contribution should consist of 2-5 pages (including tables and
illustrations); format A4; all margins 2.5 cm. Text should be written in text editor Microsoft Office (Word, Excel
for tables and graphs) for Windows. Font type: Times New Roman, font
size: Title 14, Authors 12, Institutions 10, other text 12; simple spacing; the text should be in justified style; title,
authors and institutions should be centred. If any
abbreviations are used in the paper, they must be appropriately
explained when they are used in the text for the first time. Latin
words are to be written in italics. SI units should be used. Tables,
photographs, graphs and figures should be included in the text.
Formal layout of
the contribution
TITLE
The title should briefly but accurately characterize the aim of the
contribution. All caps letters, bold. If the title is not in English
write an english translation with the same formatting in the next
row. Titles should be centred.

AUTHOR(s)
Names of authors should be without titles, in small letters; first
name at first and then surname. Individual authors separated by
commas. Type number behind the surname as a superscript according to
the author`s institution. Authors should be centred. E.g. John Smith1, Kate Falk2

INSTITUTION(s) & CONTACT(s)
Write name of author`s institution with address and e-mail. Use the
superscript index to identify individual authors. This part should be centred. E.g. 1
Department of...; 2 Department of...

ABSTRACT
The abstract should give the reader sufficient amount of information
about the contribution, namely about the objective, method and the
most important results of the work. It must be written in English
and not exceed 350 words.

KEY WORDS
They begin with small letter and are
separated by commas. They should contain from 3 to 6 words.

1 INTRODUCTION
Shall give brief and clear information about the current state of
the research in the given field (references of authors) and about the objective of the
work with explanation of scientific
necessity to solve it. The “method of
the first entry and date” is used for citation (e.g. Smith et al.,
2005; Smith and Novak, 2006). If needed the Introduction can be
followed by other chapters numbered 2, 3,... Write chapter titles
bold.

MATERIAL AND METHODS
Should describe the studied material, as
well as used methods of study and ways of
evaluation of results. Used method of experiment is described only
in case of original or modified method,
or with citation of author of the method. Statistical methods should be described in details.

RESULTS
In this part are mentioned only concrete results of work and in text
are mentioned also the most important
numerical values and data (may be in tables). It is
convenient to support the results by variation-statistical processing.
Tables and graphs, prepared in MS Word or MS Excel, should be
directly included in the text. Data presented by the tables or
graphs should be as simple and clear as possible.

DISCUSSION
It is necessary to assess results from various aspects mainly with
respect to factors that could influence them,
and to confront them with results of other authors in such a way as
to show what is new in the obtained
results and what differs them from results of other authors or
hither-to knowledge or in which part they
correspond to each other. Bibliographical reference of authors
should be in the same form as in the
introductory part.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION may comprise of a one chapter.

CONCLUSION
It has to be clear and brief. It should define clearly the obtained
new knowledge, the most important results,
their scientific or practical significance and recommendations for
the practice or for further research.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
It can contain the number or title of
project within which the problem was
studied or thanks to people who contributed to the realization of
the research.

alphabetical order after the surname of the first
author. Listed are only
