Department of Botany and Genetics provides:

a) education and state exams in full-time Bachelor´s and Master´s study programmes "Biology" and "Biology Education"
b) PhD study programme "Molecular Biology"
c) exams for obtaining the academic title PaedDr in specialization "Biology Education"
d) exams for obtaining the academic title RNDr in specialization "Biology"
e) qualification exams for teachers (grammar and secondary schools)
f) habilitations and inaugurations in specialization  "Biology"

- Length of study period: 3 years for full-time and 4 years for part-time study
- Academic degree: "bakalár“ (abbr. "Bc.“)
